Want to get involved with our work?

Baseless Fabric Theatre is looking for enthusiastic and skilled people to join our Board of Trustees.

What will you be doing?

Our dedicated Board of Trustees oversees the strategic direction and governance of this performing arts charity. We are looking to further strengthen the sustainability of the charity, developing existing and creating new revenue streams, and increasing our network of supporters and partners. The Board offers strategic guidance, creative ideas and support as required.

What are we looking for?

We are currently especially looking for a new trustee with skills and experience in:

  • Professional accountancy and/or financial management (especially for a small charity)
  • Fundraising and development
  • Enthusiasm and energy for our work and objectives

The board meets 4 times a year in Wimbledon, London – although on occasion trustees can dial in via online conference. The time commitment outside of these meetings varies but can be minimal.

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds.

What difference will you make?

We are a small Board of Trustees so you have the opportunity to make a positive impact and contribution through the skills, experience and enthusiasm that you will bring to the charity. There is huge scope for future development not least through expanding our networks, improving our sustainability and building on our previous work.

What’s in it for the volunteer?

This is a chance to contribute to and enhance an exciting performing arts charity in South West London and help it move to the next stage of its career.

If you are interested in finding out more please email Artistic Director Joanna Turner at [email protected] to arrange an informal chat.
