We are thrilled that we will be presenting our new adaptation of The Elixir of Love in summer 2025! Throughout 2024 our team worked hard on creating the new adaptation suitable for high street performances! Donizetti’s sparkling comedy L’elisir d’amore or The Elixir of Love was given the Baseless Fabric stamp by the acclaimed team of director/librettist Joanna Turner and composer Leo Geyer – with Jo editing and adapting the story and writing the new libretto for London life today and Leo taking the orchestra to just 3 instruments suitable for walking down the high street.
As part of the programme of work we have also been offering our Skills Sharing Workshops for practitioners who are new to opera, our Opera Taster Workshops to South London primary schools, Carehome Concerts to local organisations for the elderly and monthly Opera Clubs to Roehampton Base Youth Club and Commonside Trust Lunchclub!
